Skyline Luge Sentosa
Build a trip to Singapore
About
The Skyline Luge Sentosa is a unique gravity-fueled thrill ride that originated in New Zealand. It consists of two parts: the Skyride (a chairlift) and the Luge (a three-wheeled cart). The Skyride offers a breezy, bird's-eye view of the island and the sea, while the Luge allows you to race down four distinct tracks—Dragon, Expedition, Kupu Kupu, and Jungle—featuring hair-raising corners and tunnels. The sensory experience is exhilarating, especially during the 'Night Luge' when the tracks are illuminated in neon colors. Experts recommend buying a '3 or 4 ride' pass, as one go is never enough once you master the steering. Pro tip: Wear comfortable shoes and secure your hat; visit during the late afternoon to experience both the daylight views from the chairlift and the neon-lit night ride.

Nearby Attractions
SkyHelix Sentosa
SkyHelix Sentosa is Singapore’s highest open-air panoramic ride, standing 79 meters above sea level. Historically, it is the first 'vertical carbon-neutral' attraction on the island. The sensory experience is a gentle, rotating ascent where your feet dangle in the air as you rise into the sky. The 360-degree views cover Sentosa, the Southern Islands, and the Keppel Bay area. The feeling of the wind in your hair while sipping a cool drink at the peak is incredibly relaxing. Experts recommend taking the ride during the golden hour just before sunset. Pro tip: Your ticket includes a choice of a souvenir or a non-alcoholic beverage to take on the ride; since it is open-air, the attraction will pause during lightning or heavy rain, so check the weather before heading to the Imbiah Lookout.
Adventure Cove Waterpark
Adventure Cove is a unique aquatic park that combines high-speed water slides with marine life encounters. Historically, it is recognized for being the only waterpark in the region where you can snorkel with 20,000 tropical fish over a colorful reef. The sensory experience is a mix of adrenaline on the 'Riptide Rocket' hydromagnetic coaster and relaxation along the 620-meter-long Adventure River. Experts recommend the 'Rainbow Reef' for a free-entry snorkeling experience that feels surprisingly authentic. Pro tip: Bring your own towel to save on rental fees, and use a waterproof phone pouch for photos. Since it’s an outdoor park, check the weather forecast; operations may be suspended during thunderstorms, which are common in the afternoon.
Siloso Beach
Siloso is the most active and energetic of Sentosa’s three beaches, known for its beach clubs, water sports, and vibrant lifestyle. Historically, it was the site of British coastal defenses, with Fort Siloso located at its western end. The sensory experience is high-tempo—the thumping bass from beach clubs like 'Rumours' or 'Ola,' the sight of bungee jumpers at AJ Hackett, and the aroma of grilled seafood. It is the premier destination for sun-seekers and adrenaline junkies. Experts recommend staying until after dark for the 'Magical Shores' light and sound show. Pro tip: If you want a quiet experience, head here in the morning; by 3:00 PM, the party vibe takes over. It’s also a great spot for beach volleyball, with public courts available for use.
Wings of Time
Wings of Time is a world-class outdoor multi-sensory night show set against the open sea at Siloso Beach. Historically, it replaced the famous 'Songs of the Sea' and features a storyline about courage and friendship. The sensory experience is spectacular—a combination of 3D projection mapping, state-of-the-art lasers, robotic water fountains, and pyrotechnics that light up the night sky. The sound of the waves and the cool sea breeze add to the atmosphere. Experts recommend the 'Premium' seats for a centralized view of all the laser effects. Pro tip: There are two shows nightly (usually 7:40 PM and 8:40 PM); book your tickets online in advance as they often sell out. Arrive early to catch the sunset on the beach before heading into the theater area.
